We are excited to announce that the Vancouver Invitational, in partnership with CWSA will host an IWRF Classification panel. Based on the current need of Team BC and our Next Gen athletes we will be focusing on intermediate to advanced D1. The capacity of the tournament is 10 teams.
In order to best support the planning of the event; booking effective transportation, contracts and facility access as well as accommodating the needs of the classification panel. The registration deadline for the tournament is now Monday January 30th. The registration deadline for the tournament hotel is Feb. 9th.
Based on the availability of classification we are expecting interest from International teams again this year. Germany has already expressed some interest and I have sent entry info to Japan and Brazil. This will also be posted on IWRF, CWSA and USQRA. Depending on the number of teams who apply to attend we are open to having teams split in half to support development.

Hotel Rate: $ per night

Registration Fee: $800 per team
• If your team roster exceeds 8 athletes and 3 staff (total 11), there will be a $40, per additional person, fee added to the to your tournament registration. This fee will cover additional transportation and meal costs.
• Classification – we will be hosting a IWRF A panel for this event. Classification will start in the late morning or early afternoon on March 8th, numbers depending. Your athlete requesting classification should be available no later than 10am on the 8th. (If you are unavailable be classified on the 8th there will be a small number of sport available on the 9th 10am – 4pm. Please provide your best time of arrival to me directly and I will do my best to arrange a time with the Chief Classifier once they are appointed)
• Early arrivals (available March 6th and 7th) Should your team wish to arrive early additional chair storage space and facility access can be arranged – this will be at your cost and a contract with the Oval can be arranged. I will do my best to arrange test matches between other early arriving countries. If the number of athletes and staff exceeds 11, in one single arrival slot, we may need a larger bus. Should this bus be required there may be an additional transport charge applied. I can provide rates once flight schedules are provided due to fluctuating rates.
• Departure – we will be able to accommodate departure on the 12th after 6pm and all day on the 13th. If your team has arranged to depart after the 13th. Transportation services after the 13th may require additional fees to deliver.
